Peter A. Nitze

Chief Executive Officer

Prior to being appointed to Chief Executive Officer of the Nutritional Lipids division of DSM, Mr. Peter Nitze joined Martek in September 2005 as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He began his career in finance at General Electric and has subsequently held positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, supply chain, operations and general management. Prior to joining Martek, Mr. Nitze held senior level operations positions at DRS Technologies, Regulatory DataCorp and business units of Honeywell International. He received his M.S. in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and his B.A. from Harvard University.
